Anse Source d'Argent on the island La Digue, Anse Lazio on Praslin or Beau Vallon on the main island Mahé are popular with beach vacationers. The island republic also inspires with a colorful and almost intact underwater world - the diving areas in front of the islands and in the St.-Anne Marine National Park are among the best in the world with the colorful coral reefs, exotic fish and exciting sea creatures.

In addition to long sandy beaches, the Seychelles landscape is mountainous, partly overgrown with rugged rocks and dense jungle. The highest elevation is Morne Seychellois (905 m) on Mahé in the national park of the same name. The Morne Blanc (667 m) is also a popular destination for hiking and trekking tours. Hiking trails and trails lead through the fascinating flora with dense mangrove forests near the coasts, lush jungle on the mountain slopes and tea and coffee plantations inland. Typical plants in the Seychelles are cinnamon trees, coconut palms and the Seychelles nut palm with an edible fruit weighing up to 25 kg.

Seychelles wildlife consists of numerous bird species such as the Black Seychelles Vasa Parrot, the Paradise Flycatcher and the Frigate Bird. In addition, the islands in the Indian Ocean serve many sea turtles as egg depots - the giant turtle, which otherwise only lives on the Galapagos Islands and weighs up to 250 kg, can also be found in the Seychelles. The underwater world is home to colourful clown and parrot fish, rays, boxfish and other marine life.

The climate in the Seychelles is tropical, temperatures are between 27 and 32 degrees all year round. Most precipitation falls in January, particularly hot and humid it becomes in April and the most pleasant are the "cool" months July and August with temperatures between 24 and 29 degrees.
