There is a lot to see in the city centre of Dubai
Swing on a ByKy bike at one of the automated bike stations on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and be enchanted by the glittering skyline on the tour. At Zahr El-Laymoun in Souk Al Bahar you should try one of the many delicious Arabic dishes and watch the majestic Burj Khalifa and the dancing fountains of the Dubai Fountain. Afterwards you can visit the Dubai Mall and admire the sea animals in the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
Experience historic Dubai and head to the Old Town. Head straight from the airport to Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. Visit the Dubai Museum before stopping at the XVA Café at the XVA Art Hotel for refreshments. Afterwards you can cross the Creek with a traditional Abra (water taxi). This trip costs only AED 1 and shows you Dubai from a very special perspective. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the spice souk and the gold souk.
Treat yourself to a break by the sea and visit one of Dubai's most popular beaches. The Kite Beach in Jumeirah 3 is visited above all also by sport enthusiasts. The beach offers a 14 kilometre jogging track and a wide range of water sports, including paddleboarding and kite surfing. The shallow and well-tempered water of the Arabian Gulf invites small and large water rats to swim and splash around. For a snack you can choose the food truck Salt operated by Emiratis, from where you can follow the beach life and see the Burj Al Arab in the distance.
The architecture of the Madinat Jumeirah is like a traditional souk. This Arabic building complex, crossed by picturesque waterways, is a must for every holidaymaker. Watch the Abras on the canals from the outdoor terraces of the restaurants, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Burj Al Arab from here, especially in winter at sunset.
The City Walk is a trendy lifestyle district that has plenty to offer, from shopping and restaurants to family-friendly activities and the elegant hotel complex of La Villa Hotel and Suites. This district is particularly captivating with its inviting outdoor pedestrian zone in European style. Visitors to the City Walk can also look forward to a variety of events throughout the year. For those looking for family entertainment, the world's largest public bio-dome Green Planet, Mattel Play! Town and the gaming paradise Hub Zero. As far as shopping is concerned, visitors can find all international and local fashion brands here. When it comes to gastronomy, we recommend the Farzi Café, Demoiselle by Galvin, Bareburger or Lima Dubai, but also the many other restaurants and cafés offer a wide range of specialities for every taste.
